Nokia will launch its Dual SIM handset C1 and C2 in India

Wide range of dual SIM handsets has been launched in India by local handset manufacturers and in order to give tough competition to the existing range, Nokia is all set to launch its globally available dual SIM handsets, C1 and C2 in the country.

The C Series of Mobile Phones was globally launched by Nokia in the month of June this year and now the company will make these handsets available for the Indian markets by the end of September this year. The C1 model from the company will be made available by the third quarter whereas the C2 model will be available by the 4th quarter.

Nokia C1 mobile phone is capable of carrying 2 SIM cards in the handset but only one can be kept activated at a time. The other model C2 also provides facility of Dual SIM and both of them can work simultaneously. The C1 and C2 will be launched in India with an approximate price tag of Rs. 1750 and Rs.2500 respectively.

Low End C series mobile phones launched by Nokia

Nokia has today launched its 4 new low end C series Mobile phones called C1, C1-01, C1-02 and C2. Among these latest phones, Nokia C1 and Nokia C2 will feature dual SIM function and in Nokia C1 only one SIM card can remain active at a time but the users will have an option to switch between the SIM cards with the press of a button.

The C2 model will allow the functioning of both the SIM cards simultaneously. The second SIM card in C2 model will be hot swappable which will make this handset as the first mobile with feature of hot swappable SIM card slot.

Features which are common to all the four models include microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, music player, 3.5mm jack, FM radio and Bluetooth. A VGA camera will also be present in the C2 and C1-01 model. The battery life of these handsets are also impressive. The Nokia C1, C2, C1-01 and C1-02 will be launched with a price tag of 30 Euros, 45 Euros, 39 Euros and 35 Euros respectively.
