Apple iPhone 5 – Phone with impressive features

Apple is all set again create waves in the mobile phone market with its latest Apple iPhone 5 which will come packed with wide array of amazing features.  This phone will run on Apple iOS 5 and will be powered by 1.4 GHz of Apple A5 Dual Core processor.

There is 4 inches of OLED Capacitive Touch Screen in the phone that supports 960 X 640 pixels resolution and features multi touch input method, 3D display, accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor and three axis gyro sensors .

The 8 MP camera present in Apple iPhone 5 features AF, Dual LED Flash and digital zoom so as to capture impressive quality images. Other multimedia options include front camera for video calling, 1080p HD video recording, multi format music player, multi format HD Video player and motion games.

Connectivity options of the phone include GPRS, Bluetooth with A2DP, WiFi, USB, HDMI port, EDGE, 3G, GPS and HTML Browser. Apple iPhone 5 will be available in options of 32GB and 64GB of memory. The battery of the phone is capable of providing standby time of 420 hours and talk time of around 13 hours.

 

Indian Operators in talks to get CDMA iPhone

It has been recently reported that two of the Indian telecom operators are in talks with Apple so as to launch the CDMA version of iPhone in the country.  The two operators who are in talks with Apple include Tata Teleservices Ltd and Reliance Communications Ltd.  One of the person related to the negotiation stated that these two operators are in talks for the last 4 to 5 months so as to offer a version of iPhone which will be based on the code division multiple access.

The Apple spokesperson for India, Anand Baskaran declined to make any comment on the same. Presently the Apple iPhone is available in India through Vodafone and Bharti Airtel Ltd.  Apple is already making a CDMA version of its handset which will be offered in US by Verizon Wireless from next year.

The CDMA version of iPhone will help Apple to further get hold on large numbers of mobile users all over the globe. In India there are around 670 million of wireless users and among them 20% of the market is captured by CDMA handsets.

China will have iPhone4 next month

There is a good news for the people in China who wish to get an iPhone4 as China Unicom has made an announcement that the phone will be launched in the country on 16th of September this year.

All those customers who wish to get an iPhone 4 in China will have to make an online order of the phone in advance with China Unicom.

China Unicom , the second largest Chinese carrier is also the exclusive provider of the Apple iPhone’s in the country of China and the company has also launched the iPhone 3GS, 8GB version on 9th of August, this year.

The issue of reception which is faced by the owners of the iPhone 4 will remain the same with the Chinese version of the handset but in order to meet up with this situation, China Unicom will provide complimentary cases to all the buyers of iPhone 4 so that there is no inconvenience to them.

Apple will offer free iPhone 4 cases to solve the reception issues

The press conference which was organized by Apple on the iPhone 4 reception issues has come to an end and the CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs has stated that the company will offer free cases to all the iPhone owners to fix up the reception issue.

It was also stated by Steve that the problem of reception in iPhone has been blown out of proportion and he also stated that “We’re not perfect; phones aren’t perfect,”.”We want to make all our users happy.”

Steve siad that the iPhone 4 users who have already made the payment for the cases that helps to reduce interference will be refunded with their amount.

In order to get the free cases the customer can visit the Apple store from now onwards till 30th of September this year.

Apple iPhone 4 was released om 24th of June but just after some hours of its release reception problem was encountered in the handset.

1.7 million Apple iPhone 4 sold in first 3 days

Apple has recently stated that they have sold 1.7 million units of its latest iPhone 4 in just 3 days since the day when handset went on for sale. The Chief Executive of Apple, Steve Jobs stated that the debut of the iPhone 4 was the most successful product launch in the history of Apple.

Last year when Apple iPhone 3GS smart phone was launched the company was able to sell 1 million units in its first 3 days. The sale of Apple iPhone 4 in UK, US, Germany and France was started on Thursday and many of the stores have run out of stock. No indication has been given by Apple as to when the supplies will catch up.

Rodman & Renshaw analyst Ashok Kumar has previously estimated that the firm will need to produce around 4 million units in a month in order to hit the target and it was also cautioned that it will miss due to the shortage of Retina displays.

The pre-orders for iPhone 4 was opened in US by AT&T and Apple on 15th of June but all the 600,000 units of the iPhone 4 which were available in the stock were sold by the end of the same day.

Kids exposed to sex and suicide due to smart phones

The smart phones like iPhone from Apple are enabling the kids to download various violent and sexually explicit games which have been escaped from the classification of the government.

The classification loophole states that the school going children who are given the smart phones and other similar devices by their parents are exposed to the material which are restricted in other media forms like magazines, movies and video game consoles.

These materials can be downloaded on iPhone from the Apple application store within 60 seconds and moreover only a debit or a credit card is needed so as to create an iTunes account for downloading the application.

“5 Minutes to Kill (Yourself)” is an example of such game where an image of a man with a knife through his head is shown as a logo and in this game the players have options for access to different weapons to get the job done. “Girls and Drinks”, is other such game.

iPhone 4G to be launched in India by Vodafone

Vodafone Essar has announced that they will be soon launching the latest iPhone 4G in the Indian markets in the coming months. This latest handset from Apple was unveiled at the Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference which was held in San Francisco and the device will be available in Germany, Japan, UK and France from 24th of June this year.

The FaceTime feature of iPhone 4G will allows the two users of this handset to do video calling over the Wi-Fi connection. The Retina display technology of iPhone 4G is also considered to be the highest and the sharpest resolution of phone screen ever with 4G times the pixel count as compared to the earlier iPhone models. Other features of the phone include 5MP camera with LED, high definition video recording and editing and others. Though the price of the phone for the Indian market is not yet revealed by the company but it will be available globally with a price tag of $199 and $299 for 16GB and 32GB model respectively.

Apple makes announcement of iPhone 4G

Apple at the recent WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) conference has revealed the features of its latest iPhone 4G which will be made available globally from 24th of June. Currently Verizon Wireless is testing the CDMA version of the handset and they also confirm that they are making the changes in the network in order to bring the iPhone to their network.

The latest iPhone 4G will come loaded with wide variety of impressive features like multitasking, video chat, extreme downloading, 5MP camera with LED, extended battery life, True GPS built in and many others.

The phone will also feature the Retina display technology which will provide it with the sharpest and the highest resolution of the screen that will be three times more in the pixel count as compared to the earlier versions of iPhone.

The iPhone 4G will be available in UK, Germany, France and Japan with memory options of 16GB and 32GB and will have price tags of $199 and $299 respectively.

Apple is highest selling mobilephone is Japan

Apple is playing a leading role in Japan as its iPhone sales rising high according to the latest statistics reported by Bloomberg’s Business week. The website states iPhone sales have increased double within the last 12 months with Apple shifting 1.69 million mobile phones across the time. That balance sheet also shows that 72 percent of all smartphone sales throughout the year, which in total hit 2.3 million. Such sales figure reflects something of a major step up for Apple Corp. in Japan. The second biggest mobile manufacturer in Japan is HTC, but according to MM’s figures it is far behind the sales of Apple phones.  Toshiba remains in third position, taking up 6.8 percent of sales, while Apple’s more traditional competitor Google wiped up 5.6 percent with Android handsets.

The earning report of the second quarter of 2010 shows Apple picked up $783 million from Mac computer sales in the first quarter of 2010. Apple COO Tim Cook has announced iPhone sales have increased 183 percent year on year within the last quarter.
