Acer liquid mini Review
January 8, 2011
Acer liquid mini is basically a smaller and more compact version of the Acer liquid Android phone. It is a tiny kind of a handset which is available in a variety of colors like blue, pink, silver, black and even green. This Android Smartphone is a full touchscreen handset with curves having chromed edges.
This device runs on the 2.2 version of Android OS and has a 3.2 inch full touchscreen display. The size of this screen is quite impressive as compared to phones at a same price such as LG Terry. Infact the surprising fact about the screen is its capacitive nature and not the resistive one like in the case of most of the average priced phones. This handset is 3G supported and enables the support for GPRS, Wifi, GPS and USB port. You can also stream video and music from your TV by installing a DNLA certificate. The internal memory space might not be enough for a few of you, thus there is provision for expanding the external memory by using the microSd card slot that comes fitted with liquid mini.
Other features offered are Bluetooth, FM radio, music player and camera. The music player supports multiple formats including MP3, MIDI and WAV and produces sound quality better than music phone like Nokia 5800 Xpress music. But it must be added that the maximum volume provided doesn’t seem quite enough. The 3.2 MP camera is another ordinary specification with a resolution count that could be one dull features of this mobile phone.
Acer liquid mini seems like a balanced handset with its share of bright as well as not so bright points. Overall it makes for a reasonable buy.
