Ray T60 – Twice as Smart With Price Rs 4,269

March 22, 2010

Ray T60 is a phone from the Chinese brand that has been brought to India by Mobile Store. Unlike other Chinese phones, Ray phones are of much better quality and have an IMEI number among other things to verify their authenticity. Moreover, they are backed by Mobile Store with a one-year warranty and the promise to attend to them should they ever have any technical problems.

Ray T60 is a dual SIM phone but also has a large touch screen encased in an attractive steel casing. Then there is also an accelerometer and a 2 Mega pixel camera along with Bluetooth connectivity and expandable memory. It is notable that the T60 has two batteries in its bundle. Considering that dual SIM phones usually consume more battery the decision to include another battery is wise. All you need to do is carry the spare battery with you and as the one that is in use wears out, you could just swap it with the charged one.

Ray M31 – All in One Mobile With Price Rs 4,499

Ray M31 is a good phone from Ray Mobiles. On the right side of the phone, at the top, is a switch that allows you to toggle between still camera, video camera and image viewer modes in the camera application. Below is a mini USB port under a flap, which is responsible for all connections to the phone, including the charger, the headset and the data cable. It is difficult to get a converter for the mini USB port. Below the port is the camera shutter key.

On the rear side of the phone is the camera lens at the top with an LED flash and the loudspeaker grille beside it. Below lies the battery cover. Underneath the batter cover, you’ll notice the memory card slot (accepts up to 2 GB of cards) along with the SIM slot and of course the battery itself. The position of the memory card does not let you remove or add it without removing the battery, which is very inconvenient.
