Blackberry Curve 9220 – Affordable Handset

In order to capture the youth market of the country, Blackberry has recently announced the launch of its latest mobile phone called Blackberry Curve 9220. This phone comes packed with all needed features. Physically measuring 109 X 60 X 12.7 mm in size, Blackberry Curve 9220 comes packed with 2.44 inches of TFT display that features touch sensitive optical trackpad along with a QWERTY Keypad. The internal memory of the phone is 512MB whereas its external memory can be expanded up to 32GB with the use of microSD card slot. For entertainment, multiple features are present in the phone including 2MP camera with video recording, multi format music player, video player and games. For the first time, Blackberry has brought in FM radio feature in its Blackberry Curve 9220 model. Additional specifications of the phone include document viewer, Li-ion 1450 mAh battery, HTML browser, microUSB 2.0, WiFi, Bluetooth, EDGE and others. Blackberry Curve 9220 runs on the latest BlackBerry OS 7.1.
Blackberry Curve 9220 can be considered as a successor of the Blackberry 8520 model with some exciting features. This latest model is sleeker as well as thinner as compared to 8520 model. Moreover it also comes packed with the latest version of the OS that is 7.1 which makes mobile experience even better. The most striking feature of Blackberry Curve 9220 as compared to all other BlackBerry models is the presence of FM radio.
Blackberry Curve 9220 will be available in the country with an affordable price tag of Rs.10,990 only.
