HTC has come out with the launch of a new Desire series phone and this latest device is called HTC Desire 816. This phone has made its entry into the mobile world through the MWC 2014 event and is a mid-range device working on Android OS.
HTC Desire 816 sports a 5.5 inch HD display screen. This handset is powered by a quad core Snapdragon 400 SoC processor which is clocked at 1.6 GHz. This processor is clubbed with a 1.5 GB RAM space too. Another 8 GB has been packed in, in the form of internal storage with an option to expand it by up to 128 GB via micro SD card. On the rear end of this phone will be a 13 MP snapper whereas the front takes a 5 MP shooter.
HTC Desire 816 is backed by a 2600 mAh battery. It is just 7.99 mm in thickness and weighs 165 grams. The connectivity options supported by this phone are GPRS, GPS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 port, 3.5 mm headphone jack and LTE. It will be available in white, red, yellow, black and purple color variants. This phone is also bundled up with HTC’s BoomSound functionality.
