Huawei has unveiled a new version of the Ascend Mate Phablet at the CES 2014 event and this latest device is called Ascend Mate 2 4G. This phablet runs on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS but there is no word about its pricing or availability as of now.
Huawei Ascend Mate 2 4G comes with a 6.1 inch HP IPS+LCD display screen. It runs on quad core Snapdragon 400 processor which is ticking at 1.6 GHz. This processor is coupled with a 2 GB RAM space and Adreno 306 GPU. On the rear end of this phablet is a 13 MP Autofocus HDR capable snapper whereas the front has a 5 MP f/2.4 shooter. There is an onboard memory space of 16 GB on Ascend Mate 2 4G and it is also equipped with Huawei’s Emotion UI 2.0.
Huawei Ascend Mate 2 4G is packed in with a powerful 4050 mAh battery which delivers an excellent battery life. The highlight feature of this phablet is the fact that it supports the reverse charging feature through which it can be used to charge other phones and devices. Connectivity options supported by it include GPRS, EDGE, Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, A-GPS and 3G etc.
