Yota Devices, which is a Russian modem developer, has launched a new phone in Russian and European markets and this handset is called YotaPhone. This phone is expected to debut in other markets in the coming few months and comes with several interesting features and specs.
YotaPhone sports a 4.3 inch capacitive display screen with a resolution count of 720×1280 pixels. There is an electronic paper display on the other side which provides a pixel count of 320×480 pixels. So basically, this device is a phone as well as an eBook reader with e-ink functionality. Under the hood is a 1.7 GHz dual core Snapdragon processor which is clubbed with a 2 GB RAM space. An 1800 mAh battery powers YotaPhone and delivers well. Connectivity wise, this phone supports GPRS, LTE, 3G, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS and headphone jack etc.
YotaPhone from Yota devices is fitted in with a 13 MP snapper as well as a 1 MP camera which takes the front side. Users get to use 32 GB of onboard memory space but there is no information about whether this space can be extended or not. There is no word on availability or release date of YotaPhone in India yet.
