Intex is all set to launch a new budget handset for the Indian audiences and this device will be dubbed as Intex Slimzz 2.8. This will be a basic candybar shaped device operating on the GSM frequency. The release date and the exact pricing details aren’t out yet.
Intex Slimzz 2.8 comes with a 2.8 inch TFT display screen which will be providing the users with a resolution count of 240×320 pixels. This handset will be bundled up with 400 KB of internal storage memory that can be expanded by using the micro SD card slot by up to 16 GB. A 1.3 MP snapper would be fitted on the rear end and will be equipped with features like digital zoom and video recording. A 1500 mAh battery has also been installed inside for delivering a talk time of up to 3 hours and a standby time of up to 250 hours.
Intex Slimzz 2.8 supports GPRS, Bluetooth and a micro USB port connectivity options. On the music front, users can enjoy the multi format music player which has been preloaded with this handset. This phone is not a touchscreen device and will be provided with an alphanumeric keypad.
