Gionee has recently announced a new member to its family of smartphones in the form of its latest model called Gionee Pioneer P3 which is a dual SIM GSM compatible device and is considered to be a successor of the earlier launched Pioneer P2 model.
Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, the handset is powered by 1.3 GHZ of quad core processor and features Mali 400MP GPU, 512MB RAM and custom UI of Gionee. The 4.3 inches of WVGA display in the phone is capable of supporting resolution count of up to 480 X 800 pixels.
For capturing images, Gionee Pioneer P3 comes packed with 5 MP of rear camera that also features LED flash so that decent images can be captured in low light conditions. A 0.3 MP VGA front camera for facilitating video calling is also present in the phone.
The internal memory of the handset stands at 4GB while its external memory expansion is possible up to 32GB with the help of microSD card slot. Talking in terms of connectivity, Pioneer P3 supports basic options including GPRS, WiFi, 3G, EDGE, Bluetooth and microUSB. The 1700 mAh of battery in the phone is capable of providing decent back up time.
Gionee Pioneer P3 will be available in color options of white and black and will come with a price tag of Rs. 7499.
