Samsung has introduced what is being called as the world’s first curved display phone. This device is termed as Samsung Galaxy Round and it shall be equipped with a new feature called the Roll effect. It shall be running on Android 4.3 Jelly bean version OS.
Samsung Galaxy Round shall be sporting a 5.7 inch curved HD display screen with OLED type resolution. This handset from Samsung will be equipped with the TouchWiz interface and under the hood; it shall be powered by a 2800 mAh battery which is capable of delivering quite a decent talk time and standby time. Galaxy Round runs on a 2.3 GHz MSM 8974 quad core processor which is supported by a 3 GB RAM space. There is about 32 GB of inbuilt storage and 64 GB of external space via the micro SD card.
Samsung Galaxy Round will be fitted in with a 13 MP rear end camera with auto focus and also a 2 MP front facing camera for video chatting capability. The large screen of the phone enables users to access many applications with a gentle touch here and a slight tap there. There’s no word about its launch date and price in India yet.
