Micromax has launched a new Smartphone which comes by the name of Micromax Bolt A40. This new entry to the wide range of Micromax phones is a dual SIM phone which works on GSM frequency and is powered by Android Gingerbread OS.
Micromax Bolt A40 sports a 4.5 inch TFT display screen which offers a pixel count of 480×854 pixels. Under the hood, this phone has been powered by a 1 GHz Spreadturm SC6820 processor which has been coupled with a 512 MB RAM space. The other storage options supported by this phone include a 512 MB internal memory space and a micro SD card slot which enables the users to expand the external storage by 32 GB. This handset is equipped with a 2 MP rear end camera as well as a 0.3 MP front facing snapper for video calling.
Micromax Bolt A40 supports many connectivity options such as GPRS, EDGE, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, EDGE and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. To complete the list of specs is a 1500 mAh battery which is capable of delivering 4.5 hours of talk time and a standby time of upto 175 hours. The price of this phone hasn’t been revealed yet.
