Kobian is a known name when it comes to computer peripherals and tablet and recently they have announced the launch of their latest tablet called Mercury mTab Star. Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, the device is powered by 1 GHz of dual core Media Tek MT6577 processor and features 512MB of RAM.
Mercury mTab Star is easy to carry and handle as it has weight of just 320 grams. The capacitive multi touch display in the tablet measures 7 inches in size and supports resolution of 1024 X 600 pixels. Its 2 MP of rear camera comes along with LED flash and is capable of capturing basic quality images. 0.3 MP VGA front facing camera for video calling is also present.
The internal memory of the tablet is 4GB and its external memory can be expanded up to 32GB so that while storing your important and needed data you do not have to worry about space. Connectivity is provided through options of WiFi b/g/n, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 3.0 and 3G via SIM card slot.
Additional specifications of the tablet include 3.5mm audio jack, 3000 mAh battery, built in speaker, support to Flash 11, incorporated SGX 531 3D engine and others. Mercury mTab Star will come with 1 year of warranty and is expected to be available from first week of September this year. The price is not yet announced by Kobian.
