Samsung has recently announced 2 new members to its Ativ line up in the form of Windows 8 powered tablet called Samsung Ativ Q and Ativ Tab 3. These latest tablets come along with impressive list of specifications.
Ativ Q is a convertible tablet by the company that features 13.3 inches of display that has resolution support of 3200 X 1800 pixels along with 275 ppi pixel density. Though this device runs on Windows 8 OS but it can also run the apps of Android up to Android 4.2.2. JB version. These applications in the tablet are made available through Google Play and the users can also freely interchange the files and the folders between the Android and Windows 8. Additional specifications of the tablet include Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of DDR3L RAM, microSD card slot, 128GB SSD , USB 2.0 port, HDMI port, RJ45 port, Intel HD Graphics 4400 and others.
The other tablet launched by Samsung is Ativ Tab 3 that is claimed by the company to the thinnest Windows 8 tablet with thickness of just 8.2mm. There is 10.1 inches of display in the device that supports resolution count of 1366 X 768 pixels along with 155 ppi pixel density. Powered by Intel Atom Z2760 CPU the tablet features 2GB of RAM along with 64GB internal memory which is expandable through microSD card slot. The battery in device is expected to provide back up for around 10 hours. Other specifications include microHDMI port, microUSB, S Pen, pre loaded apps like Student and Office Home and others.
