HTC has rolled out two new players into the Smartphone market, one of which is Desire XDS while the other is the HTC Desire U. Desire U can be considered as a slightly lower version of XDS and runs on the dated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
HTC Desire U features a 4 inch capacitive display screen which is capable of delivering a resolution count of 480×800 pixels. As far as the camera is concerned, this device has been fitted in with a 5 MP rear end snapper with auto focus and LED flash. The sad news is that there is no option of a front facing camera. Internally, Desire U comes powered by a 1 GHz processor which is coupled with a 512 MB RAM. There is 4 GB of internal memory space as well which can be expanded by using the micro SD card slot.
HTC Desire U is installed in with a 1650 mAh battery and is also equipped with the Sense User Interface. For connectivity, there is Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth and A-GPS facility. The good news for music lovers is that Desire U has been provided with the Beats Audio Technology.
