Celkon has added yet another budget mobile phone into its lineup of devices and this latest product to be unveiled is known as Celkon A8+. This device runs on the Ice Cream Sandwich version of the Android operating system and has been priced at an entry-level phone price.
Celkon A8+ sports a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display whose resolution count has not been revealed by the company. Under the hood, it has got a 1 GHz processor ticking and is coupled with a 256 MB RAM. The company hasn’t talked about the internal storage space available but the micro SD card slot is expected to allow expansion of external storage space by up to atleast 16 GB. This mobile phone is fitted in with a 2 MP Snapper on the rear side to capture your precious moments and also make videos. Infact a VGA front facing camera too has been provided.
Celkon A8+ supports connectivity options like Wifi, Bluetooth, GPRS, micro USB port etc but it does not support 3G connectivity. This is a dual SIM phone running on GSM frequency. A 1500 mAh battery powers A8+ and manages to provide decent amount of talk time and standby time.
