HTC Butterfly is expected to be available in the Indian markets from end of January this year and the phone comes packed with wide array of impressive specifications. Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.5 GHz and it features Adreno 320 GPU.
There is 5 inches of Super LCD3 capacitive touch screen in the phone that supports 16M colours along with 1920 X 1080 pixels resolution and 441ppi pixel density. For photographic enthusiasts, HTC Butterfly comes loaded with 8 MP camera that features LED Flash, Auto Focus, smile detection, image recording and geo tagging. A 2.1 MP secondary camera for video calling is also present.
Other multimedia options include 1080p video recording at 30fps, multi format music player with 3.5mm audio jack and Beats Audio sound enhancement, TV out, multi format video player, access to You Tube, Google search and others.
Connectivity in the phone is provided through options of GPRS, EDGE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, NFC, microUSB 2.0, GPS with AGPS and HTML 5 browser. HTC Butterfly comes packed with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory and its external memory can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD card slot.
Additional specifications of the phone include 2020 mAh battery, accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor, organiser, document viewer/editor and others. HTC Butterfly will be available in India with a price tag of Rs.44,000.
