Celkon A79 is the name given to the latest mobile phone that has been put into the market by Celkon phones. This handset is a dual SIM phone which works on the GSM frequency and also provides the dual standby facility to its users. Celkon A79 works on the Gingerbread version of Android OS.
Celkon A79 has been provided with a 3.5 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display which exhibits a resolution count of 320×480 pixels. This screen is packed with specs such as multi touch display and accelerometer. A79 has been attached to a 3 MP rear end camera which comes with features like digital zoom and video recording. On this device, the micro SD card slot can be used to expand the external memory space by as much as 16 GB.
Celkon A79 is equipped with many connectivity options including GPRS, Wifi, Bluetooth, USB port, EDGE, 3G and even GPS. A dual core 1 GHz processor powers this device whereas a 1300 mAH battery is responsible for providing a standby time of 400 hours and a talk time of up to 3 hours. To enjoy music, there is inbuilt FM radio as well as a multi format music player that comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack.
