Intex has recently announced the launch of its first Android powered Smartphone called Intex Aqua 4.0 that runs on 2.3 Gingerbread version of the OS and is powered by 800 MHz of processor. This bar shaped phone features dual SIM GSM compatibility along with dual standby option and sports 3.5 inches of capacitive touch screen.
The display of the phone supports resolution count of 480 X 320 pixels and features gravity sensors, light sensors and proximity sensors. Intex Aqua 4.0 comes packed with 512 MB of internal memory out of which 131MB can be used as user memory and the external memory of the phone can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD card.
For capturing images, the phone features 3 MP camera that comes along with digital zoom so as to take even distant objects with clarity. A 0.3 MP VGA front camera for video calling is also present. Other multimedia options include FM Radio with recording, multi format music player with 3.5mm audio jack, video recording, multi format video player, games and access to social networking sites.
Connectivity in Intex Aqua 4.0 is provided through GPRS, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, WiFi, USB port, Browser and 3G. There is 1400 mAh of battery present in the phone that provides talk time of around 3 hours and standby time of 140 hours.
Intex Aqua 4.0 comes in colour option of Blue and White with a price tag of Rs. 5490.
