Sony mobiles have announced that they are going to launch Sony Xperia Go in Q3 later this year. This latest mobile phone from Sony is to be a rugged, all weather mobile phone which shall provide protection from the environment and has a scratch proof mineral glass on the display screen. Sony Xperia Go comes in a stylish and slim looking body.
Sony Xperia Go runs on the Gingerbread version of Android Operating system and might get an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade after its launch. This device features a 3.5 inch retina display which offers a resolution count of 480×320 pixels. Xperia Go comes powered with a 1GHz dual core processor and a 512MB RAM which together provide decent processing speed. The 8GB of internal memory space out of which only 4 GB can be accessed by the users seems quite enough.
Sony Xperia Go is installed with a 5MP camera which is capable of recording videos at 720 p HD. The most special and unique feature associated with Go is that it is certified to withstand a water immersion of up to 1m depth. It also has high dust protection rating. Sony Xperia Go shall be available in Black, white and yellow colours.
