Running on the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the device is powered by 1.22 GHz of Cortex A8 processor. The internal memory of the tablet is 4GB whereas its external memory can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD card slot. There is 7 inches of TFT capacitive touchscreen in Micromax Funbook that provides clear content quality through its support to 480 X 800 pixels resolution. Entertainment aspect in the device is taken care by features like secondary VGA camera, multi format music player, video player, YouTube access and HDMI port. Additional specifications of the device include Li-ion 2800 mAh battery, Organizer, HTML Browser, WiFi, miniUSB 2.0 and others.
When compared with HCL ME Tablet U1, Micromax Funbook is slightly thinner with 2.53mm and besides being touchscreen device it has 3 physical buttons for the convenience of the users. The 1.2 GHz of processor present in Micromax provides better performance as compared to HCL which is clocked at 1 GHz.
Micromax Funbook comes with an affordable price tag of Rs. 6500 only and is available in colour options of Suave Silver and Brilliant Black.
