HTC Rider is the name of the latest mobile phone announced by the company that runs on Android OS and is powered by 1.2 GHz of Dual Core processor. The phone comes packed with 4.3 inches of 3D, S-LCD Capacitive touch screen that is capable of supporting 16M colours along with 540 X 960 pixels resolution for providing bright quality of contents.
The display also features touch sensitive controls, HTC Sense, multi touch input method, proximity sensor, digital compass, Gyro sensor, digital compass and accelerometer sensor. HTC Rider features 1GB of RAM and its external memory can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of microSD card slot.
For entertainment, the phone comes loaded with variety of multimedia options including access to social networking sites, multi format music player with audio streaming, 8 MP rear camera with AF and LED Flash, 1.3 MP front camera, video streaming, video recording, video player and games.
Connectivity in HTC Rider is provided through, HTML/xHTML Browser, 3G, EDGE, microUSB 2.0, GPRS, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP+EDR and WiFi. Additional specifications of the phone include GPS with AGPS, document viewer/editor, active noise cancellation with dedicated mice and others.
