In CES 2011, Dell made an announcement about the Streak 7 and immediately rumors spread that Dell will soon launch a tablet of length 10 inches. Two websites such as Windows Phone Central and Android Central got access of the roadmaps of the tablets and smartphones from Dell and thus got the hint that Dell has approximately nine new products in the pipeline ready to be launched. The Dell smartphones that are about to launch however are models based on Android 2.4 Ice Cream and Windows 7.
This year Dell is going to launch two new products from the Tablet group and three more in the same group next year. The leaked roadmaps of Dell smartphones and also tablets show clearly that more models are on the way so that Dell can maintain its position in the ever rising market and meet the expectations of the consumers. From the roadmaps the hint of the release of Android Ice Cream and the next generation of Windows Phone 7 are also made clear.
