Samsung has launched two phones, namely, Chat 322 and Chat 335, and the company has tagged these phones as “smart messaging phones”. Some of the basic features of these phones include QWERTY keypads, instant messenger and native social networking services (SNS) clients such as Twitter and Facebook, mail, Active Sync (Push Mail App) and Smart Homescreen, which allows the user to create shortcuts, buddy lists as well as live ticker feeds from Facebook and Twitter, optical track pad, and so on. Samsung Chat 322 is considered to be the first Samsung messaging phone to offer a QWERTY keypad with Dual SIM.
The phone has a dedicated SIM switch key which enables the users to block one of the SIMs if necessary. Moreover, this handset offers users direct access to SNS links to six popular social networking portals like Orkut, MySpace, Flicker and so on. Also, it has a 3.5mm audio jack, 2.2 inch LCD display, 1.3 megapixel camera and FM radio. On the other hand, Samsung Chat 335 is a slightly advanced version of the 322 model and features a bigger 2.4 inch LQVGA (320 x 240 pixel) TFT LCD display, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi and USB 2.
