Fujitsu to foray into mobile phone market of India and China

In order to expand its mobile phone market across the globe and to penetrate in the overseas market, Fujitsu which is a Japanese electronics company has decided to launch its smartphones in India and China. These phones will be launched by the company in the year 2011 and 2012.

As per Fujitsu, the company expects to make sales of around 10 million mobile phones by the end of the fiscal year 2012. This figure of 10 million is 60% more as compared to the estimates for the fiscal of 2010.

In India and China the company plans to launch those models of mobile phones that will have compatibility with Long Term Evolution, next generation phone services which will enable the users to enjoy the transfer of data at a very fast speed.

In October, this year, Fujitsu integrated its business of mobile phones with Toshiba, which made the company to gain a position of number 2 in its domestic market with a total share of around 20%.
