LG will launch dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 smartphones

LG has recently made an announcement that the company is in the process of preparing new line of smartphone that will be powered by the NVIDIA dual core Tegra 2 processor. LG expects to launch these handset during the fourth quarter of the year.
The Tegra 2 processor in the smartphones will be capable of offering wide array of excellent features which includes 2 times faster web browsing, 1080p HD video playback, 5 times better experience in gaming and others. The NVIDIA Tegra 2 comes with 1GHz dual core processors and has powerful G Force GPU which is energy efficient as well.
The first mobile phone which will come with NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor will be from the Optimus series of the company. The details regarding the OS which will come with these handsets is not yet known but we can expect it to be Windows Phone 7 or Android.
