Aircel has recently made an announcement for the launch of its Wireless Internet Phone which will be the first of its type in the industry. This latest innovative phone will come with a price tag of Rs.3299 along with various prepaid as well as post-paid plans.

The Wireless Internet Phone from Aircel will act as a phone cum internet modem which will feature browser along with one touch GPRS/WAP. This latest introduction will be available in all the 22 telecom circles in the country and will help Aircel to attract large segment of wireless phone subscribers.

This latest device is been manufactured by Huawei and comes with various impressive features. The device is very handy and easy to carry and it comes along with 3.5 inches of TFT LCD screen.  Through WIP the user will be able to perform internet browsing at the speed of the EDGE without connecting the PC for the internet access. The local calls in the device are charged at 50p per min to all the networks across the country.

The Aircel WIP comes with 64MB of non expandable memory and file download from Internet to the phone is not allowed.
