T Mobile USA states that it has no plans for launching 4G for at least next 2 years

For all the T Mobile users who were waiting to enjoy the 4G services, there seems to be disappointing news as Rene Obermann who is the CEO of T Mobile USA’s parent company, Deutsche Telekom has recently stated that the company has no plans or intentions for building 4G network for at least next 2 years. He further stated that “With HSPA+ we’re in a very good position. We still have plenty of capacity, so we are competitive”
With this announcement by T Mobile it seems that T Mobile is satisfied with their 3G offerings and is not in any hurry to launch the 4G network like its competitor Sprint. Though the T Mobile Subscribers will not be able to enjoy the 4G network but they can certainly expect regular upgrades to their existing 3G network which is expected to reach the speed of up to 42 Mbps by the year 2011.
