LG Launches its new Android handset in India called Optimus GT540

LG has recently made an announcement for the launch of its new Android handset in India called Optimus GT5400. This will be the second Android based device which will be launched in India by LG as in earlier March this year, the company had launched its first Android Phone called GW620.

The latest LG Optimus 540 is a 3G enabled handset that runs on the Android OS version 1.6(Donut).  There is 3 inches of resistive touch screen in the phone that offers resolution count of 320 X 480 pixels and provides support to 256K colours.

The multimedia features of the handset include 3.15 MP camera with geo tagging and blink detection, FM Radio with RDS and 3.5mm of audio jack. Other list of features which makes this handset as a complete device include WiFi, Bluetooth, microUSB, AGPS and others.

LG Optimus GT540 will be available in colour options of Black, Silver, Pink and White with a price tag of around Rs.11999.
