Nokia N900 Review
June 25, 2010
Another rat in the race, the Nokia N900 is a perfect sibling for the N97. Coming with same features, this phone has nothing new to offer. The same resistive touchscreen, the slider QWERTY keypad, and the required features like GPRS, Bluetooth, USB port, so on and so forth. It is an N series phone truly and by all its features.
However, we have something new to offer in the Nokia N900. It has great internet connectivity and better resolution of display. It is a good phone and comes with a Maemo 5 operating system. The Mozilla browser adds to the pace and the ease of internet usage.
The 5 megapixel camera with dual flash also comes with a lens cover which is absent in most camera phones. However, the camera features are outdated. The best part is a foldable kickstand. Not surprising at all that the phone has to offer a 3.5 mm jack and a TV out. The audio is brilliant and you can integrate contact on Google Talk, Skype, and other services of VoIP.
The User Interface of the handset functions only on the landscape mode. However, this phone is neat and is not as difficult to handle as the N97 or the mini in that case. This is sleek and easier to carry. Again, it is true that heavy phones like HTC HD2 and the OmniaPRO never failed to function well and gained confidence in the market. The weight sometimes does not matter in comparison to the features and style that a mobile phone offers.
