The latest mobile set by LG is on the verge of release named LG Cookie Fresh. This handset features a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen, a 2MP camera attached on the back, along with LG’s “cartoon User Interface.” Moreover, there’s support for MicroSD card slot, and on the software side of things there’s an integrated Facebook application. LG Cookie Fresh features another unique application called LiveSquares, which apparently puts an animated image as an icon for a selected contact.

The Cookie Fresh is rubber-trimmed handset, so we imagine that’s either going to scare some people off or attract them by the masses. It will come in 16 different colors, and the speculation is LG is planning to release it in up to 50 countries around the world by the end of this year. Though the price of this unique handset has not been announced yet, but the report says it will be a low cost phone to capture the market.
