Indian Captain M.S.Dhoni dropped from ad of Aircel INQ

Indian Cricket Team Captain M.S. Dhoni who is the brand ambassador of Aircel since its inception has been dropped from the new commercial of INQ handsets, though he is still promoting the value added and pocket internet services of Aircel. The commercial which featured Dhoni promoting the latest social networking INQ handset was aired for few days but now there is an another commercial for INQ.
Dhoni was dropped from the INQ ad because he is also promoting the Maxx mobile handsets and as per the norms a person can only promote one product in a category. Thus Aircel was asked by Maxx Mobile communication to stop the airing of the commercial.
It was last month when Aircel had an agreement with the UK based social networking handset maker INQ and an aggressive promotion campaign is used by them in electronic as well as in print media. The other mobile services and VAS features of Aircel are however being promoted by Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
