Videocon V1675 is a new handset from the company that features QWERTY keyboard along with Optical Trackpad that provides optimized messaging. Staying connected to all your near and dear ones becomes easy with this handset as it provides access to various social networking sites like Twitter, MSN, Facebook, Google , E-Buddy , Yahoo Messanger and others.
The handset has landscape 2.4 inches of TFT screen with 320 X 240 pixel resolution so as to offer crisp and bright image viewing experience. the steet price is 5600/-.before anyone buys it i wud tell him the merit and demerits of this phone.
merits-
good looks- doesn’t look made up of cheap plastic like other chinese cell(includes lava,micromax,spuce etc)
nice and load sound
java applications work fine.
nice camera(both front and rear)
battery life is decent
sceen resolution-this is farbetter than every other mobiles even the nokia ones.
demerits-
ultra sensitive touch pad-though it helps during web surfing.but its really hard to control. better use side buttons to move up and down the menu.
the menu is filled wid unnecessary shortcuts that cud only been there as the bookmarks.
cheap and inefficent earplugs with no 3.5 mm jack. so i used a 10/- 3.5 mm convertor and used my regular creative earplugs the sound is fantastic.
any ya some preety funny issues like operamini doesn’t recognize the qwerty keypad so while typing the urls we hav to type as if the set is a normal cell not the qwetry one.
but any way i liked the phone. and recommend it to every one
PC suite software down loaded from Videocon site is not working.

Hai i ve bought this set after thorough research of d scenario.. I almost completly agree with Gourav.. Most of the things that he has pointed are true to the core.. if u want a dual sim phone with neat looks and good messaging and browsing experience, this s d rite choice.. If u r ready to compromise on looks and d quality of typing on qwerty, then u may consider spice micromaxx etc.. Others actualy look like plastic toys bought from street sellers….

no better than a Chinese 2000 rs phone. All features are very primitive. Call, camera, speaker, screen’s quality is wrost
i got this phone for 5450 rs on saturday, used it for 1 day.
Its of low standards that i sold this phone on next day itself at 4600 rs.
so if u like shit in ur hand and picket – go for this one.
Note : U will get best phones in Nokia and other companies at this price.
Donno why big company like videocon would sell such chinese phones with its label.
i purchased the videocon v1675on 18/3/2010, but till date after trying with the tollfree number as well as the delear is never bothered to offer the pc suite. i believe that customer satisfaction should be the prime concern for the organisation, i hope that atleast charging Rs. 25/- for CD with pc suite in the box would be the best option instead of harassing the customer and offering the mentle torture like this.

V1675 has triple sim….???
i am not able to download your PC Suite software.and it is also very difficult to down load to pc. V1675. why you are not taking any steps to overcome this problem even though after receiving many complaints.that’s why nobody is preferring this mobile.
How come no body give a site where we can actually download a pc suite which could work on windows xp. Why all this crap. If you want a dual sim with this much of feature go for it don’t brag about this is bad don’t buy. i mean i people can afford expensive sets obiously they won’t go for this. This is meant for lower and mid middleclass people.

hello,v1675 is a superb phone.Any one who tells you it”s not good dont listen.At 4950/ you r getting a cool smartphone .It comes in 2 vibrant colours black and red.I bought black set .It looks like you are using 21000/Blackberry.Internet works fine.pc suit cd comes with phone kit.Social sites are enabled in phone.only push email is not there.It is good music phone.full qwerty phone with trackpad.I advice u to get this cool dashing smartphone for just 4950/.THANKS videocon for this lovely phone.

hi gaurav, u mentioned about some audio adapter for v1675, i have asked almost more than 20 shops, but did’t got any 3.5 adapter which suits for this mobile…
