Samsung has introduced an affordable slider phone for Indian market called Metro 5200. Though this handset is not the part of the popular Corby line up in India but it is also equipped with interesting features.

The phone features a basic slider along with 2.1 inches of color screen with resolution count of 240 X 320 pixels. The 3.2 MP camera of the phone is equipped with additional features like LED flash, Face detection and video recording.

This phone works on GSM network 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and offers an internal memory of 50 MB which can be further extended up to 8GB with the help of MicroSd card.

Other features of this cell phone include music player, USB 2.0, FM radio, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, office document support, fake call prank application and others. Though Samsung Metro 5200 with a price tag of Rs.7439 is considered to be an affordable slider phone but one has much better options like Corby handsets that have decent specs and touchscreen with price tag of around Rs.10000 that is not very high as compared to the price of Metro 5200.
