New software called Mobile Speak has been unveiled that helps the blind and visually impaired people to communicate easily and conveniently with their mobile phones. This software acts like a screen reader which has the ability to perform the redial so that you can come to know that who called you and the number that called. This screen reader works exactly in a manner like the readers of the computers that makes the computer accessible.

When you dial and push the buttons in your phone this software will repeat the numbers so that come to know that you are dialing the correct number.

If the phone with the software also has an in built camera in it then it will help the visually impaired people to get themselves dressed up as the camera will have a color identifier which will tell the color of the clothes when the camera is pointed towards them.

Mobile Speak software is not available for the all the models of the phone but only for a few of Nokia’s on AT&T, T Mobile Networks and Cingular. If you wish to install the software on your own then the cost is $300 and for $400 you can get it installed.
