HTC is planning to launch its low priced Smart touchscreen handset in India by end of the March this year with an expected price tag of Rs.10,000.Though HTC Smart is not a smartphone but it comes along with a UI that is similar to that of HTC Sense UI. This handset will run on the homegrown Brew mobile platform of HTC and will be powered by 300 MHz processor.

There is 2.8 inches of LCD touchscreen in this cell phone with QVGA resolution. The physical dimensions of this handset are 104 X 55 X 12.8 mm with weight of 108 grams. You can use 3MP camera of the phone to capture good quality images as it features flash and fixed focus but the camera of the phone is not capable of video recording.

The connectivity features of the phone are also good and is provided technological support from Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE at 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and HSDPA/WCDMA at 2100 MHz/.Other features of the phone include expandable memory, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack, music player supporting multiple audio formats and others.
