Fly LX500 – A GPRS disaster at Rs. 9400

March 3, 2010

The Fly LX500 shocks you as in spite of being touted as a GPRS model, this hand set confuses you to the core when you set out to use that service. This is not to say, however, that by copying the interface from other companies, Fly has done a very lewd job especially when it is trying to establish itself in the industry; what we are trying to say is that they could have used the same code and given it a prettier face or at least something that looked original. The default browser in the hand set is a basic WAP browser but there is also Opera, which is just perfect.

In terms of the rest of the features provided, you have 87 MB at your disposal internally, but since the company doesn’t provide a memory card along with the handset, you are left with just that unless you buy a card to carry along your MP3 collection.
