Sharp- Solar Hybrid Cell phones

After the success of its solar powered cell phones in Japan, Sharp is ready to launch its Solar Hybrid handsets in China as well which will be the first solar powered phone by the company for overseas market. Some known features of this phone include 2.9 inches of internal display, Sharp’s proprietary solar cell module and many others. The 5 MP camera in the phone will be capable of capturing high quality images.
Two models of the phone will be introduced in China by the company- SH6220C and SH6228C. Both these models will have Memory LCD which is an energy efficient display that has high visibility in daylight. The solar panels in this phone will provide 2 hours of standby time and one minute of talk time for every ten minutes in sun. The color schemes in which this handset will be available are Blue/White, Pink/White and Pink/Black. The price of this phone is not yet known.
