Samsung Waves S8500- First Bada OS handset

Samsung has announced its latest handset called Samsung Wave S8500 which is the first smart phone that is powered by Bada OS. This interesting new phone offers wide array of features that includes Super 3.3 inches of display to make the screen come alive, TouchWiz 3.0 for intuitive and customizable user interface, Social Hub to get you closer to your connection and contacts and many others.
The handset has high speed CPU with 1GHz processor which ensures smooth and swift application experience along with multi tasking features. The Samsung Bada OS is like the TouchWiz UI of Samsung which is turned into a standalone smartphone OS and similar to the TouchWiz roots the Bada OS also uses the widgets. In this handset one can customize up to 10 different homescreen panes along with the widgets of your choices.
The Bada OS in this phone also offers various apps which ranges from smartphone fare like browser and email to media widgets like Video Editor Widgets and YouTube.
Other features of this phone include 5 MP camera with flash, HSDPA, 3G data, Bluetooth 3.0 and MicroSD card slot.
