Samsung has unveiled its new and innovative mobile phone called Blue Earth which is an eco friendly solar powered full touchscreen phone. This handset by the company is made from PCM which is a material that is derived from recycled plastic water bottles which helps in reducing the fuel consumption and the carbon emission during the process of manufacturing.

This latest handset also comes with economy mode planned so as to increase its efficiency and it is free from all harmful substances like Beryllium, Phthalate and Brominated Flame Retardants.

Samsung Blue Earth handset is capable of adjusting its backlight duration, screen brightness and also its Bluetooth usage. There is also a built in pedometer in the phone will let you know the CO2 emission that you have saved by walking instead of driving. The solar panel is present on the back of the handset that charges the phone enough so as to make a call anytime when you are in the sun. The details regarding the price and the availability of this handset are still not known.
