Recycling of products is the process of re manufacturing things that are considered waste or trash. Recycling wastes is very helpful for the Environment and also the economy of a country because there are a lot of benefits in this technology.
Recycling old mobile phones also has a lot of benefits. In United States there are 205 million people who use cell phones and as the cell phones are upgraded or changed frequently, as a result there are 650 million phones which are thrown into trash. The ratio of usage and trash of cell phones is generally high due technology advancement of these phones.
Have you ever wondered what to these cell phones which contain harmful and toxic material like cadmium, lead, and mercury? These cell phones if they are not dealt properly they can contaminate the water and hinder the human food chains. A better way to avoid this is to recycle cell phones and save the man kind by its harmful toxic material.
The cell phone consists of various materials like Gold, Platinum and silver. Gold being the most important material used in the circuit of a cell phone it can be recycled again and used in different cell phones. Even the cell phone chargers have copper in them which although not toxic but surely can be reused. The other way recycling the old phones is to use the old parts which are functioning well and replace them with the new phones. These procedures help in wasting money as 90% of the cell phone materials can be reused back to make a new cell phone.
