CDMA Mobile Phone
March 31, 2009
Since the CDMA mobile phone is gaining popularity in India, major cell phone companies are going with the trend and producing CDMA phones of their own. This CDMA or Code Division Multiple Access technology is not a new technology, it has been around for some time. It is not as popular as the GSM phones because the earlier CDMA phones can only perform the most simple handset task like sending messages and calling. However, large mobile phones manufacturers are now looking into including CDMA phones into their products. These new phones will be the same with the new GSM phones out in the market today. The only difference between a GSM phone and a CDMA mobile phone is the CDMA does not require any SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card. The network provider will be included along with the purchase of the cell phone.
Some of the new features of the phone are Hindi user interface making it the right phone for the people of India. A Hindi interface allows the user to operate the cell phone in Hindi. This is suited for those who are more comfortable in using Hindi than the English in their cell phones. This makes the phone a great gift for those who are not quite good in the English language but wants to use a mobile phone.
The new versions of the CDMA mobile phone is also much the lighter and slimmer than the old version. It comes with stylish designs giving the look of an advance and sleek mobile phone.
