Google maps comes with the Streetview to help you cross the street

Google maps newest version enables users to get a glance of the streets it desires to by using Streetview. Streetview which was available for iPhone, Blackberry and Androids is now available on Series 60 third edition and also on Windows Mobile phones.

For us Indians if the Streetview can be used to view images of foreign locations, its not a bad bargain after all. As is with others it will come to us eventually in its finest form.

G1 has family, Kogan Agora Pro comes packed with Google Android

3G mobile era is a reality now for India

On Thursday 3G became a reality for India as the state owned MTNL launched the country’s first 3G network. A Video call and live viewing of Television on a 3G enabled mobile handset by the PM of India confirmed this.

Affordable tariff, free 1 month service for MTNL users, confirmed commercial launch by January 2009 were some of the promises made during the launch party. Also hopes were pinned on 3G to bridge the divide between the rural and urban India.
